Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will get its official world unveiling during tonight’s NBA playoff game on TNT, but that didn’t stop Activision from prematurely publishing the Black Ops 2 preorder page to its United Kingdom Call of Duty website. Now, we’ve got a first look at the game’s box art, release date, and full game description:
Pushing the boundaries of what fans have come to expect from the record-setting entertainmentfranchise, Call of Duty®: Black Ops 2 propels players into a near future, 21st Century Cold War, where technology and weapons have converged to create a new generation of warfare. Pre-order today.
Moreover, Japanese gaming site doope.jp has gotten its hands on two alleged Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 screen shots, showing that the game will take place in a futuristic environment, a first for the Call of Duty franchise.
If you head to the pre-order page, you’ll see all of the different retailers that will offer pre-order for Black Ops 2, but their Black Ops 2 pre-order pages have yet to be published. The game will be launching in the UK on November 13th, and we’d assume that means the US launch date will also be the 13th of November.
